Engaging the children in activities that are both physical and educational. By providing a friendly atmosphere and an atmosphere of growth and development.
Primary Accountabilities
Monitors the children at all times.
Maintains the equipment to make sure that all are safe and in proper working order.
Checks children as they enter the facility for illnesses to protect all children in the facility.
Checks children in and out to assure that all children are leaving with the proper parent or guardian.
Completes incident reports on time and turns such reports (uncopied) to the supervisor in charge.
Provides feedback to parents of child's progress and behavior and interacts with parents to provide a better experience for the child.
Implement age appropriate activities for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old.
Qualifications
Must have High School diploma or equivalent and must be at least 18 years of age.
Prefer at least 3-years experience in childcare or teaching.
Prefer HRS 40 Hour Certificate.
Must hold current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintain.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
