Sales Manager, Value Added Resellers

Their systems provide edge video storage, IP communications interface (SATCOM, radio, or hard wired network interface), cameras, video analytics, intelligent edge device management, power management, environmentally controlled enclosure, etc. They are involved in High Value Asset Protection, Border Surveillance, Remote Perimeter Security, Wide Area Monitoring, and other customized applications, some classified. Their solutions are flexible, adaptable and scalable; desirable for almost any security and surveillance demand. Their leadership is comprised of leading pioneers from their industry, and that's one reason for their ongoing success.
The company has an immediate need for a Sales Manager to be located in the Palm Bay office. This position offers a salary plus incentive with unparalleled opportunity for a strong performer.
Accountability and Expectations:
? Actively pursue relationships with existing VARs, while generating new relationships to expand VAR network
? Train and continually develop VAR network
? Provide timely and accurate response to customers required proposal
? Follow up on all sales leads in a timely and effective manner
? Build and maintain a knowledgeable network of specifiers
? Design and develop solutions for end-user clients
? Build and deliver proposals in a timely and proficient manner
? Attain sales quotas and metrics as required
? Prepare an annual sales plan for approval
? Maintain the sales tracking activities & opportunities
? Accurately forecast all sales
? Attend job handoff meetings with operations when required
? Attend and participate in a weekly sales meeting
? Attend Association meetings and networking functions
? Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
? Prepare reports of business transactions and appropriate expense accounts.
? Preference will be given to candidates with sales or applications engineering experience
? Must be able to handle 60 - 75% travel
? Should have strong technical acumen and a related four year degree
? Possess strong experience in client facing situations
? Prior experience working with Value Added Resellers is a major plus
? Experience selling to DOD or selling surveillance related products is a major plus
? Should have the ability generate both proposals and sales forecasts
A significant incentive program over and beyond the base salary applies.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
