The Customer Service Representative job duties include:
Handling inbound customer requests, which may include policy changes, requests for additional coverage/policies, billing inquiries, and cancellations.
Re-marketing and rewriting policies that are up for renewal.
Following up on outstanding claims and assist in their resolution, as appropriate Job Requirements:
Personal Lines Insurance experience preferred, but not required.
Friendly personality and a genuine concern for others.
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
Ability to identify, understand, and interpret customer needs and offer solutions.
Comfortable working with technology and computers.
Great attitude and willingness to support the team.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
